Thanks. I've seen significant growth over the past 10 months with the leds. Just had to pick up a heater to compensate for the temp.

That pic was about 2months ago. Actually trying to get done of that coraline algae out of there. Any suggestions? I've tried scraping, and broke the scraper. It's really thick and heavy in there.

I know the pain keeping up on coraline algae on front glass is a daily task
that tank looks great otherwise

Good looking tank. I honestly think that a well stocked and maintained planted tank rivals a reef tank anyway. Keep it up!

My 29. Don't mind that mesh crap.. I'm using it in that tank until my canister filter arrives for my new tank to help cycle faster.

Replacing everything in the right corner for some love plants attached to some driftwood my lfs sells.

29 gallon~ 5 giant danio, pleco, chinese algae eater
35 gallon~ red ear slider, soon to add guppys and shrimps

Not sure if you are talking to me or not, I don't think so I like the bare bottom on this tank.

This is the tank I just got yesterday. Came with the sand.

His basking spot, tank heater, canister filter and water lettuce will be here within a week. So I ghettofied a basking area out of an old pvc part from an old filter and some air tubing haha. And he won't leave any of my fake plants in the sand. He likes to dig them out.

Just finished ordering some black airline tubing to run to the sponge filter instead of that painfully obvious white one. Had originally planned to only leave the filter in for a month or so but decided not to set up my 45 gallon and like the surface agitation the bubbles create.

I love my black airline tubing. So much less conspicuous!

I started my rescape today. Worked on the substrate with Eco-Complete. Going to be placing CaribSea Tahtian Black Sand over it to cover the dividers. Getting plants, manzanita and seiryu stone in this week. Slow going, but loving the outcome so far!!

That's a cool backing Dee, Nice to see a Python, that cuts a lot of work out, I agree with the black tubing, its not in your face..........

If anyone remembers how much of a disaster my 75 gallon tank was. Without further ado... *drum roll*

It looks 10000x better than it did.

Once the cycling is finished I'll be adding Peacock/Haps cichlids.

Might have a slight obsession with my fish

Looks good so far.....what kind of rock are you putting in for the caves?
