So many beautiful tanks here, I follow the thread but have been hesitant to post. Taking the plunge now and sharing my no-tech nano RCS tank, please be kind :)

Kind of a crappy picture, its hard to get the fish to pose!

I got the tank at Petco... about 2.5 months ago...now I am scared because my friend who had the same one,>> sprung a leak << and lost all of his fish except a pleco that he managed to save that I gave a new home to.

Imagine coming home to water all over your floor and even worse your fish are all...aahhh hem... passed on... :bawl:

That's one big pleco :)

55 gallon elephant nose tank.
16 gallon vampire shrimp and snails

Here's my 55. Nothing to write home about.

The anacharis that is floating it there for an african butterfly fish. I want to find a more attractive solution.

I like your tank, just 2 questions why is your substrate that deep, and I have noticed a lot on here have their heater straight up, this can turn your heater off as the heat rises up to the thermostat, needs to go at an angle.........just a thought

Cool. I never thought about that with the heater. Thanks!

May the force be with you.

I am going to buy a rubber lens hood, (Think I read it on here) cuts out the glare and stops the tank glass from scratching.........

Male Endlers, red rili shrimp, and a nerite snail. Moving to the spouse's work office next week. So glad it's finally done!
