45 gallon with one Marble Angelfish, one Albino Bristlenose, and a few Cory Cats. There is an Otto in there somewhere. He was the only one left over from a school at one point. Some random plants I have collected over the years too. Also a few Nerite snails that keep laying eggs on my driftwood. No CO2 just dose ferts when needed.

It is a wad of Pothos roots. Nitrates are always zero with that stuff in the tank.

that got my curiosity going for sure, it's great to know you can bring nitrates down the natural way . I so hate chemical's I wiped out many a tank using them . always got to learn the hard way , now I just avoid anything in a bottle lol

Here's an updated look at the 30 gallon long:

I swapped the blue background for a black one. A lot of the Buce is starting to take hold. A couple Crypts are readjusting to submersed conditions as well.

I got this new photo editor program it puts all the photos I have in the vault side by side in a grid I'm working on getting everyone's photos in order for sort of a time laps . it is awesome to see how much everyone's tanks have evolved . once things settle and I get some time I will post them in video form

hope everyone has a safe 4th

20g long, prior to a water change. Other than remove some plants recently, not much has been happening with this tank in a while:

Here's my 20 gallon with new silk plants. I also have frogbit and water lettuce at the top.

Current stock:
- 2 Bolivian rams
- 4 guppies (1 male + 3 females + whatever fry are smart enough to hide from the rams)
- 4 amano shrimp (1 male + 3 females)
