Ty, they are crypt wendtii red "Mi Oya" I was told which gives the leaves the hammered look

Betta tank

Thank you, I hate that he’s in such a small tank but he doesn’t seem to mind. I’m cycling a 5.5 right now and he’ll go in it if I can just get through this cycle. It was my daughters tank, she told me it was a 10 but it’s not.

I started cycling this tank on 5/3/19 and it was fully cycled on 5/16/19. It looks so much better with fish in it.

True, true - always good to have some fish. I’ve seen some planted tanks here with no fish (great growth as loaded CO2 and ferts) but I’d rather have some fish

Great looking tank. Is that seiryu rock or dragon stone? I’m just about to set up my 29 high and thinking about putting Seiryu rock and driftwood in it. I have a piece of Malaysian driftwood but not sure if I like the looks of it with the Seiryu.
