I'm celebrating today, because I finished installing my flame gourami's new aquabridge! He was devastated when the first bridge leaked and had to be removed. He circled the place where it had been for a long time.

Not long after the bridge was removed, we had a plague in the tank, and I ended up moving him into quarantine and then into a community 55-gallon. He was not happy there. Another gourami considered the 55 his own territory, so my little flame spent most of his time hiding in a corner.

Finally the new bridge is done, and he is home! He is crossing over the bridge constantly and also spends a lot of time just sitting up there observing my living room. It's nice to have a happy gourami again!

(I am still restocking these tanks with fish and plants following the plague. A betta and a bunch of neon tetras also live there, but they are clearly camera shy today!)
