A picture of my 180g mixed reef and 75g SPS and clam tank. The picture of the 75 is kind of old, since it was taken the majority of the remaining LPS corals as well as about 20 pounds of LR were removed to make way for new growth and new frags

Well, the fish are finally in the new 125g! check it out, I took a bunch of shots with an older Olympus digi-cam, cropped 'em in photoshop and just assembled a quick collage of some of the better shots.. everything could be "sharper" but the camera has a mind of its own.

http://www.liqwid.net/tank_collage.jpg

(the image will take about 40seconds to download on a 28.8 modem)

Here's the population:

Aulonocara hueseri “Midnight” (3f, 1m)
Cyrtocara moorii “Blue Dolphin” (2f, 2m)
Nimbochromis venustus (6)
Labidochromis caeruleus (6)
Haplochromis sp. 44 “Red Tail” 1f, 1m (definite show male when he gets older!)
Atya cameroon “Marbled Cleaner Shrimp” (1) but I haven't seen him since I put him in.
Champsochromis caeruleus “Malawi Trout” (2f 1m I think)
Ps. Demasoni (male I believe)

Tank: 125g long (17x18x22) "Marineland JetStream"
Lights: 50/50 Actinic and "Saltwater Blue" from GE (only used during 3 hour transition from "day" to "night"

Substrate : Arragonite
Rocks: lava, tufa, red slate
two large pieces of drift-wood

ps. I bought all the fish (except the Demasoni) from Armkes, great experience!

The tank is a 125g "JetStream" system from Marineland.. It's pre-drilled with 4 holes - the two standpipes on the ends are surface skimmers/overflows.. the water drains into a Tidepool2 (wet/dry with sponges and carbon - over a huge bio-wheel and into a sump), where it's pumped out by a Pondmaster 1200 submersible. Water returns via. the two standpipes in the center of the tank. each pipe is setup so that water is sprayed out in all directions, at the top and bottom of the tank for great circulation. There's also a Pondmaster 600 submersible pump hidden in the back right corner, which is driving 3 under gravel jets. (if you look at the shot of the tank in the very lower right of the collage, you'll barely see two "bumps" in the substrate on each side. These are the outputs from the UGJ, there's three of them across the front of the tank - and I covered them each in a big ball of epoxy, and rolled them in the substrate to make them look like rocks, only water gushes out the tips of them.)

took some pics a few weeks back, finally got them developed, scanned and uploaded

I'll have to have a word with my photomat guy, as my pics came back extremely yellow.

They were taken with an Olympus slr (forget which model), through a magnifying glass (to get the focal length down), Agfa 400 asa film (should have used 800 though, had to override the camera's light meter a few times)
