50g stocked with 6 amusing Platies & 6 shy Penguin Tetras. Will add 6 Sterbai Cory s & 2 Koi Angelfish soon.
 
Latest 55 G, No Water Change, Tank

OK. Here goes with another experimental tank. Using emersed Chinese evergreens, one Hagen HOB power filter and use treated tap water to clean the filter. No water is manually removed from the tank, period! I just replace water that's lost to evaporation.

I trim the land plants weekly and they grow well in the tank water. The fish provide the nutrients for the plants and the plants keep the nitrogen levels at just about "0" for the fish.

I mist the plants daily with diluted liquid aquarium plant ferts. The Pennywort likes the shower too, it's growing out of the tank.

Total tank maintenance time: 1 hour every week.
