i heard alot of bad thing about this skimmer,but i have no complaints. this skimmer is a guanteed get rid of red slime in under 1 week,no matter how bad it is. for my tank and 10 other reefers.

I also have one on my 29 and I am happy with it. The PH did fail to come on a couple of times after a power outage, but i have my beak in front of the tank enough to see and correct it

so true about the power head. time to clean the magnet. i got mine when they 1st came out, yrs ago on my 30gal.and it still got rid of that red slime. now it is on my 75gal and still gets rid or red slime.

I Like them also but i do recomend that the biggest tank they run on is a 29 gallon.Only drawback is they are a touch noisy.
