Rams in Their New Abode

I took some pics tonite of the rams in their new 15g digs. Think they like it there; they just about glow they're so colorful! Wanted to share the happy couple *grin*

They sure do look happy. That red fringe on the dorsal and caudal fins is so vivid!

No wonder your Rams are happy!! Who wouldn't be in an aquarium like that!!?? Hey....if I bring a SCUBA tank can I move in there with them???

Nope, Bolivians all the way. I had Germans the first time around; they were part of the crew that keeled (2 Germans, 4 Bolivians).

These guys are a little bigger then Germans, and they have slightly different coloration, although the male sure looks like a German sometimes (he even has a very faint blue mustache LOL).

I grabbed some pics tonite, cause dad has put on his breeding coat and the 2 of em have started digging a pit in the sand. I figure they should be laying eggs within the next few days. In the pics you can kinda see the depression in the sand as well as dad's blue mustache *grin* and the black lines that show up when he's in the mood.
