It's java moss. Those are 2 pieces of DW that I attached the java moss with. And I left some loose around the ship.

I used black cotton thread. Here's a pic right after I have attached it to the DW.

There is one obvious fake plant in these, and the layouts seem to change daily. Forgive the floating java moss ball. I had some extra and didn't know what to do with it, so there it sits. The growth is a little slow in the Low-Tech game, but we're getting there.

The 20g has a DG, Cory's, Otto's and Glowlight Tetras.
The 55g has a Flame DG, Rubberlip Pleco, Ghost shrimp, Neon Tetras, Red-eye Tetras, Cory's and Black Kuhli Loaches.

Just wondering, how big is your rubber lip pleco? I have one that's about 2.5-3 inches long.

Sorry I didn't see this. Mines the same size as yours, 2-1/2 to 3". I picked the smallest one they had so I could watch it grow. He's been great. Doesn't really hide much, and loves to gnaw on the driftwood.
