The only way your dying from a lionfish sting is if your allergic, it's just a bit worse than a bee sting.

Yes its in my yard 24 x 12 four ft. Deep. Ive raised guppy, angel fish, cichlids, swordtails and mollys in there. Right now only koi and crawdads in there. The pond is ten yrs. Old.

That's awesome! I would get livebearers and chiclads! I like plants around it! And the dock is nice!
 
Something light...

On the lionfish I've had mine for about four months and I put my Han really close to him in my tank to set back up my coral or move some rocks around and never been stung.. The only thing about him is I can't get him to get frozen or flake food I gotta buy him his own live food about 1 time every two weeks sometimes more then that but if he eats to much can die cause they won't stop eating
