Some macroshots from my yard.

I've been playing around with the features on my Cannon A300 lately, and have figured out how to make the pics come out great [ for me, atleast. Before I figured out they were always fuzzy and blurry ]

anyways, Saw this interesting little creature off my side porch today, and decided to play with my macro and lighting settings.

I'll update this with more macro's from my yard later tonight.

Nice shots. Feels good to finally get the macros to come out right doesn't it?

Those are good pics, and an interesting little bug to take pics of! He posed for you nicely!

I should read my camera manual again more closely. That would stop many bad, deleted pics!

nice shots... People here keep making me feel the "Need" for a new camera... my 3.1 MP digital zoom camera can't take shots that nice... One of these days I'll have to sneak off and buy a new one... just have to find a good hiding place to my wife doesn't see it...

How weird...I have cardinals and bluejays in my backyard and yesterday I vowed to learn how to use my digital camera properly. I can sort of use macro but nothing like I've seen on the forum. Maybe we should have a support circle for those of use who need to pick up the manual. [acronym:cd51a055e3="Laughing out loud"]LOL[/acronym:cd51a055e3].

Great shots William.

Millipede...

You can get some pretty hot macro pics with a 3.1 MP camera. Here's a ghost shrimp shot I took at the 2 MP setting on my Fuji Finepix S3000.
