Hey everyone, I took some pics with my new camera and just wanted to share some:

Thanks!!! I got a Nikon Coolpix 8700 a couple weeks ago. It has 8 MP resolution, 8x optical zoom, and apparently a sweet macro function! It's got all kinds of manual settings and stuff I have never heard of, but plan to learn soon. The severum pic turned out too dark, but like I said I have no clue what I'm doing with that camera

I don't think the severum pic is too dark - it is a very artistic shot.

Seriously? 8O I've only been taking pics for a couple weeks, I didn't even use a tripod for that shot! That is a huge compliment! You think I should enter the sev pic? Can you enter the photo contest even if you adjust the brightness (I had to adjust it a little bit)?
