Surprise BN fry
I noticied some nesting behavior by my male on Saturday, when I decided that it was time to re-scape. I figured I could wait until Sunday when normal maintenance occurs. As I start to drain the tank, I see the first little BN fry cruising along the front of the glass. Not too long after I see a few more as the adult male's fins continued to wave. There had to be more hatching, so I decided that the rescape can wait.
![]() ![]() ![]() Tank stats: 75 gal planted with crypts, anubias, and ferns 2x55/65w CF regulated CO2 This is the second unexpected BN spawn in my tank, the first occured early April 2007. Maybe it will become a yearly event.
