Actually, I'm more impressed with the precision cutting of the covering for the intake. :) Actually, that is a cool flower...now, which plant produced it?
 
The plant is Hydrocotyle leucocephala. It isn't flowering - that's a young leaf that didn't open yet on the end of the stem. After I took the picture, I put the plant back underwater. There's no escaping my tank! :)

My husband Steve will be happy to know that you admired his precision with the utility knife, JC! :)

LOL, sorry little plant. When I first saw it I thought it was Brazilian pennywort (or maybe Hydrocotyle leucocephala is that?).
