Tanking pictures?
Seeing some of the pictures on the site, I am curious, how do yall get the pictures to come out so clear? I've tried, and have a nice digital camera, but mine never seem to turn out as good. Got any tips, tricks, advice? I would like to get some good pictures for everyone to see, and get an idea of the different fish in the tank.
Thanks in advance, Section8 |

No problem, it can be confusing because of the forum's title. If you have additional questions after reading through the techno stuff, feel free to post it.

Some basics:
1. Turn the room lights off. 2. Leave the tank lights on. 3. Don't use a flash. 4. Use a macro setting. (You may have to do the last two under manual settings on the camera.) 5. Take lots of a pictures. I took 100+ pictures one time and 1/5 were decent. Out of that 20%, I would say 2/5 of those were basically duplicates. |
