Charax Gibbosus - Glass Headstanders

These little guys are around 2-3" long. They were sold to me as a Vampire Tetra which I knew they weren't Payara but that still looked nice enough I couldn't pass them up. I hope you like :D

They are currently schooling. I'm not sure if they still do as an adult though.
 
Those guys are interesting fellers. I can see where they get the name. Are they hardy? Are they active fish? Im looking around for ideas on what to put in my tank once i get it cycled.

I'm not sure if they are real hardy but they do seem fairly active. Actually it's hard to find much info at all on these little guys. Not real common from what I understand.

BTW.. max length on these are 5-6"

Whew! I have seen lfs sell true vampire tetras....makes me sick
