the rewards of My Planted Newt Tank - pic heavy.... :)

Hey all,

I just wanted to share some pics of my newt tank that has been a work in progress for about 4 or 5 weeks now. Originally this 30 gallon tank was set up for 2 large African clawed frogs, and held nothing else, at least for long anyway...

Unfortunately, this frog:

Tried to eat THIS frog:

And all HECK broke loose!. the albino "Pat" died, and "Bertha" was convicted as a murderer, and sentenced to trade in at the pet shop!

we got an Oregon Newt in trade, and soon got another, added some guppies and such, and quickly i found i wanted to so a Planted tank, but one at low water level, because of the newts.

So finally after weeks of working on weekends and making all sorts of little diy projects i finally have this:

I'm feeling good about the greenery, and even my newts seem to like it:

This tank just makes me feel good!

thanks for looking, sorry about all the pics... but enjoy!!
