WOW! Your tanks are beautiful! I love them all but am amazed by your brackish tank! I'm glad you shared your talent with us! ;)

Thanks. I'm glad you can appreciate the work :)

The BW isn't as hard as people think. When I first started the tank, I planted it then slowly raised the salinity so the plants had time to adjust. I kept it at 1.015 for a long time, until we had to take the tank down for new hardwood floors. Sadly, during that time, I lost most of the plants. It's taken over a year for it to recover. I was so mad I'd ummm say not so nice things to the hubby, ahem, (the floors were his wedding present to me)

Oh wow! That's a great idea! My son wants a planted brackish tank and I thought it would be a waste of money and time because I would have to replace the plants often. I will try what you did! He would be soooo pleased! (He's 10 years old :))
Thanks!

Wow incredible tanks!!! You have a ton and they look nice ^_^ very rare!!

Amazing tanks! Some people really have a talent for this. I never realized what an art form fish keeping could be. Thanks for sharing.

Hey...I can't stop looking through your tank pics! I would love to see more if you have time to post some more. Some cloe ups would be so cool too. ONLY if you have time though. I would also like to talk with you a bit about your tanks...especially the brackish one. I am new to fish keeping and have been struggling with my plants. I will be setting up an 88 gallon tank and plan to have it planted for sure. I just don't have the funds for extravagant stuff :nono: Sure wish I did! I would go all out! Anyway, could you give me some pointers and direct me to the best places to buy plants (online) and best place for needed equipment? I would really appreciate it!
:thanks:

As requested. Some close-up of the 115g angelfish tank.

Some of the 80g BW... Our two dragon gobys, Ryuu(smaller dragon) the second (the first was a homicide committed by the ghost shrimp and mollies pushing him out of the tank) and Tatsu (large guy)

What plants do you have in there? & what's your salinity in the tank?

Let's see, I've got jungle val, dwarf sag, marimo balls, java moss, java lance fern, java windelov, anubias, ludwigia repens and a tiger lotus.

My salinity was at 1.015, I've since lowered it to about 1.008ish. I do let it fluctuate like it does in nature, so at the highest (towards the end of the month) I go to 1.012ish

Some older and newer close ups of the 120...

This is the 20 long that I'm revamping today. Hate the white gravel.

Some of the river tank. Tried to get pics of the orange throat darters, florida flagfish and the golden top minnows, but they didn't turn out well. Had to resort to the pics taken when we were moving them from QT.
