Ubuntu is pretty good for a beginners linux.. but i use Slackware.. and Debian for servers. I like debian the best.. but its GUI is terrible IMO. Slackware is where it's at when i'm just floating about. But i admit to using XP since it's the best windows available and i can do anything i want with it.. >: D

I'll be buying this Webcam over the summer.. it's actually really awesome. I want to use it to stream live footage.. 24/7

Yup. I'm gona set up a small basic html webpage and just have a live streamed video of my tank. It'll run 24/7

That's awesome. You got a link to the live stream? My PC is a beast and i don't think i've turned it off for over 6 months. Restarts?.. sometimes. But it's never been turned off. So i can do a 24/7 stream. If anything.. the camera will fail out before my computer does LOL.
