20 of them, of course!

Caught another gar while dipnetting today, same spot that I caught the last one in, so maybe he's just hanging out.

And a short interlude with a photogenic multi and a mean mugging EBJD.

Some of the boys are already coloring up since they have settled in and spotted the females.

And finally, a totally freshwater ghost shrimp posing on a nice plant leaf.

My hang on external breeder box came in today, and it's awesome.

I'm doing a review on it later, maybe this weekend when I'm less busy.

So I put a male into one section of the breeder box and after adding a female he colored up instantly.

Those are great pictures. I can't believe how cute those little guys are!
Is that breeder box the one with with its own little hob-type filter thing that shares water with the main tank?

Yup, this particular one is made by marina, but they all seem basically the same. It has 3 compartments with removable dividers. It's not huge, but it works well as an isolation or growout tank, especially for something like livebearers.

I found these particular ones in a creek near freeport fl yesterday.

Wow I wish I could find wild fish near me that could be kept in a moderately sized tank. All I have near me are trout and bass and I don't have the room or desire to keep a tank big enough that could house them

These fish are awesome. They are small, peaceful, and don't eat young!

That is so not fair!! Very very nice fish! So healthy looking and everything!
Do you just go out to your backyard and grab fish to sell?

No, I collect and keep them, sometimes I sell extras or f1's but it's not really a goal of mine currently.

Nice, I bet that's cheaper then buying them ;)
Its kinda cool that they are local fish too.
