Are those fish they would normally eat in their habitat?

Thank you! Yep they are eastern mosquito fish which are in every freshwater habitat there is and a main source of food for larger predatory fish like these Panfish. I've even seen stores like pet supermarket sell them for $2/10. I get them free in my neighborhood, then quarantine them and get them fattened up.

Cool tank .
I kept native fish years ago.
They were fun and grew fast..
I fed river /creek minnows and crayfish.
Much more fun going to creek to get food then LFS...
