Awesome build!!
I have been quietly following since my arrival to this site.
You got serious building skills and great taste ,
along with a SLAMMING tank that is IMO "museum quality".
I would not change the color of stand ,give it a little time to set in on you(I am not the black guy either).
Job well done my friend!
Your wife was a good sport also to give the tank proportion for those of us who don't have 6 foot tanks!

ap[preciate the compliments but the tank itself is far from museum quality!
so much to do in it still

here it is in the scope of the room.

want to cover the top with plywqood so the light doenst bleed thru

It's like a big man cave! So much more room for more tanks

Wow, the room is large enough that it swallows the tank, which is cool!

Not to linger off topic, but I just noticed the 5OH in your name, I'm a Mustang guy too

yes, now that the tank is done, I need to get back to the mustang! 93 fox, getting a chevy 5.3 with a nice turbo, t56, 04 cobra irs

regarding room size. Maybe later in 5-6 years I can have a custom acrylic tank made, 9 ft long, 20" deep, 24" tall. Would do away with those side cabinets and have a stupid long tank!

Sounds like a fun build, both the car and tank haha. I just sold my '95 GT. Had plans for a f4te 351w roller turbo build but life happened. The turd went 8.0s@88mph on the stock 302 so it was still a decently fun, quick car
