ty guys. should be through in a few weeks. a little swamped now, w/ other projects and work. i m much happier w/ the door structure on this canopy than i am w/ the 2 i built for my 125 g's. at least for now. the doors may swell and seize over time,lol.

very nice workmanship. I can't really tell if it's just the lighting or if you did use brass hinges, which if you did, that's the only thing i would change and use stainless steel.
and not really necessary but i think a full length piano hinge would look really good.

ty guys. here's the finished product atop her perch!




fish eggs...would have used a piano hinge if i had thought of it,lol. next time. they are not real brass hinges, but i'ma wait and see how well they hold up. the guy is supposed to keep me informed of any problems, as the door design is original and untested.

cost to build...$180

cost to new owner...$280

jeez, i don't know fish eggs. between trips to the store and labor, prolly over 15. the frame is fairly simple to put together. it's the trim and staining that sucks up all the time.
