Thanks. Although I just put it together- so, it hasn't even run yet - I am impressed with the Fluval -- it seems pretty solid

Well, the Fluval FX5 is a canister filter; I think I paid $230 for it. I also have 5 "hang on back" type skimmers that ranged from $60 (used CPR) to $165 (Reef Octopus Double).
