Hey all,

Can you critique the design here?

I was hoping to have an area for a fuge, but it seems that will have to wait till have have a larger area to play with (looking for a 40L)

overflow is 2x1" and return pump is mag 9.5 with @ 5' Protein skimmer is ASM g1x

Just for my personal preference... I would leave a bit more room for LR and a little less for the return area. The return area just has to be big enough to hold the return pump and a nice amount of water for evaporation. Maybe 10" and 7"? Just a suggestion.

Wow, I've been contemplating the exact same thing: 29 gal sump and mag 9.5 return. I have a single 1" overflow so I wonder if the mag 9.5 might be too much. If you don't mind, is the mag 9.5 silent? Also, what material are you using for the dividers in the sump?

i havent got it set up yet, but i hear the mag's in general are great...

i will be using acrylic or glass.... more than likely acrylyic
