Lol. Ok - I rebuilt the doors , changed out paneling and added a platform to an already made stand. Lol. But the canopy is all me.

Here's the new canopy I built yesterday. I quite like it. It's smaller and more compact and much more like a traditional canopy.






But, my entire family liked the first one I built better and comdemned me for the "small one", lol. And after some getting used to it, I like the first one better, too. It feels like a big showpiece with an aquarium on the middle. Plus I can sit memorabilia on top of it. So, we're going with the first one!



And I'm done with my canopy build!

Looks awesome! I agree that the bigger one is better as well. Makes your tank look like it's framed

Sure. I'd send you that one if my moms boyfriend didn't already have it in use as a shelf, lol.

The front and sides are 1x8's. The back is a 1x4. The top can be whatever but it is hinged so it can be opened. Then it's stained and polyurethaned.
