Okay ordered the glue (WELD-ON #4 and WELD-ON #3), got some needle applicators recommended for that stuff (think 22 or 20 gauge), plastic drill bits ( .25, .187, and .125). Should be in by next weekend, had to ship ground due to the chemicals. Going tommaro to the lhs to get speed squares clamps and check out table saws and routers along with some sandpaper and scrapers. Probably get some of that stuff called lucite from lowes to mess around with before ordering the actual plexis. Been reading articles on the pins method of gluing the plastic together but just dont quite understand the whole idea of doing it that way.
If anyone here has had experience with it some tips would be great.
I think when I get all the stuff I will try to build a speaker box first and see if it can handle the pressure a sub will put it through, before I tackle anything that will hold water. Think this is a good idea? Again any help would be appreciated.
