Adding a second light into a hood?

Hi all,

I currently have a 2ft Light-Glo hood on my tank, with one 15W T8 running on it. I wanted to know how I'd go about adding more lighting to the hood, either a second T8 or maybe a CFL or something?

Presumably this just involves wiring in a second ballast and mounting the new light fixture inside the hood, but as I know little about electrical things I thought I should ask first before hacking my hood to pieces!

I've got the same issue, I think I might need to get or make a second hood to have two lights in it. Maybe we can both do research and post here. Two minds better than one, right?
