I have this great idea to make a bubbler out of the top of a table top fountain that I haven't used in years. The air line works just fine, I have cut the piece to size. The question I have is what type of air pump to use. I have a HOB filter so this is not a required addition, I just want to add it for decoration. I have a 55 gallon bow front, the tank is about 19.5" deep. Would I need to get a deep water pump, or could I get by with a regular one? Any thoughts? Thanks in advance for any advice!

Get an air pump from your LFS. Not too expensive. They make them for all different tank sizes.
