Air Blow off for new Pump

So I got my Mag 36, it's running full tilt and doing great. Problem is that with a 14' drop, a lot of air is being forced down and out into the sump. Not good.

So I built this air release into the top of a lateral arm above my sump and a splatter shield so I didn't soak the whole room.

Works pretty well.

Never been done that I know of. The point is the air exits the pipe before being blown into the sump.
