Your gonna need to replace that whole panel in all honesty. That's a bad crack

Silicon will work, it holds the rest of the tank together I'd get a used too though.

Nope to silicone.. Silicone will only work as a friction bond in corners.. New panel or new tank..

Yeah, that crack is too long. Your risking the back shattering open if you silicone it and then fill it back up

Which panel is the crack on? depending on the piece, a patch can be used to fix the problem, or a new pane can be placed over the top. Sometimes it is easier to find a used tank than an inexpensive piece of glass.
