Aqua-scape of cement

Hi all,

This is just an idea in my mind and i would love to hear any feedback or a comment from anyone.

Am planning to have reef only tank and gathering ideas about the aqua scape already. I am thinking to create a PVC structure like a tree or at least similar to a tree. Then cover it with steel mesh and spray a salt resistant concrete like this



Well I have never seen any one did this before. So if there is any problem with this method I would appreciate if you tell me.

The concrete will reek havoc on your pH while it leaches out alkaline. You will need to soak it and rinse it many times before it becomes close to neutral. Ad it will always slowly affect pH. Unless you seal the hell out of it. Check with some some the other day background threads for more info on that
