Aquarium fixing help needed

I bought some aquarium sealant for the outside of my 30 gallon aquarium bc on one on the corners there's no sealant for some reason. I got the tank from a friend so I don t know if it got pealed off or what so I bought some Marineland aquarium sealant. Can I just apply it to the outside of it? It shouldn't affect. The marine life I have in the tank right?

Ones still a lil guy and the other is 3 times his size but they stick together so I believe so.
