I think the plans look sturdy enough but I'm wondering about the functional use of the stand (Unless I'm missing something which is very possible). If the tank is going to be on the bottom, how do you plan on doing the regular maintenance and water changes? Is there a big enough space between the top of the tank and the lower portion of the top of the stand to do work? Will the top of the stand come off to do any maintenance? Where will you put the lights?
