that tank is unbelievable, it looks awesome. i am completely speechless.

but is that an aquaclear filter i see hanging on the back in this pic?

I think you are talking about the the HOB Co2 reactor , I use Co2 to keep the ph stable at 7.8.

I can get some more pics , I will take the buckets out so you can see the way I set it up, I will say it is a mission to get pics though so just wait a day or two please. I know what you are going through, b/c when I was hunting for pics and info I could not get it fast enough.

ashdavid.. Thank you, this is quite alot of work for you it seems..
I have been thinking about it and on advise from BrianNY when it comes to what size aquarium to start out with young discus he advised the 29 gallon for mantainace reasons..
So I think Im going to build a scrubber for a 29 gallon and get the 29 gallon some time soon first before taking on the 75 gallon project.. the 75 gallon wont be needed untill the discus have grown some.. Just and update on what Im thinking about doing... :P

Ive been told by some readers that they dont understand what exactly a ATS does or how exactly it does it... I was wondering if anyone posting hear could help me explain this better to the readers of this thread? TIA... :P
