you probably address this in your descrip, but I'll ask anyway :eek:)

my only thought here, is that you say the tanks are fed by a "slow drip" and the heater is in the bottom collector tray. Are you concerned about the water cooling too much by the time it goes up the drip tube and reaches the tanks? This is coming from my perception that a "slow drip" is literal... and the tubing will be around the size of air-line tubing? or is temperature not that big of a concern in general?
 
well ... I should revise that to indicate a slow stream

I mean, the betta would appericate some water movement, but with that small body and huge fins, they don't want 200 gph either :)

I was thinking more like 3/8" id tubing, the cheap white kind they use for ice makers and such. using hot water, you can bend it into elbows and stuff fairly easily.

this was just an idea for the user "BettaCove" who mentioned in another post that he/she was having to change water in his/her breeding jars real often.
