Aquarium Advice Newbie
Hi,
Ive been into Freshwater Tropical fish for a while now and I want to graduate into Marine Saltwater. I wanted to jump straight into saltwater but was advised to start with freshwater tropical first... it has helped i must say. But the time has come where I want to move on, so Im doing some research into what I need etc to convert over to Saltwater.
Im being a bit adventurous and want to build my own tank, stand, hood and everything from scratch. There is a lot of information out there and a lot of jargon as well. I want to build a 6ft x 3 ft x 2 ft tank. I know I need heating, lighting, powerheads, filters etc but can anyone give me some advice in plain terms as to what exactly I may need. I Want to factor everything into the design of the tank and stand etc.
