canopy for 55 gal tank

looking to build a wooden canopy for 55 gal tank. need some help on how to do this, any pictures or plans would help.

It depends on what type of lighting you're putting in there. CFLs? T5s? MHs? Go from there. Should be relatively easy to build with a few 1 x 6s, screws, and hinges. Paint the inside flat white, coat it with polyurethane, and you're done.
