Canopy Reflector

I purchased a canopy and [acronym:0b0b94daf6="Very high output fluorescent"]VHO[/acronym:0b0b94daf6]'s for my aquarium finally. The canopy however has slats (it is not fully covered) I need to put some type of reflector in there so I don't loose all my light straight up, any idea what i should use to do this?

[acronym:0b0b94daf6="Thanks in Advance"]TIA[/acronym:0b0b94daf6]!

if you do place something under the slats, make sure you leave adequate room for the air to flow around the reflector and vent out of the hood. those slats are there to let the air out so that you dont over heat the tank and the equipment.

as for the reflector, you can get retrofit reflectors from http://www.hellolights.com/reflectors.html
among other places...

you can also paint the inside of the canopy white to reflect the light into the tank
