Changing the tank apearence??

Hello to everyone,new to the site....been lurking around for some time and finally
registered. Im guessing this would be the best section to ask this so here goes...
I have a 55g freshwater that im about to tear down and re-do from the ground up. The stand is light oak colored and im going to re-stain it Dark cherry to match my furniture....the tank itself has that cheesy looking light oak veneer on it,im sure you know what im talking about. How can I change that veneer on the tank itself? Is there an easy way to do it,or a kit i can buy? Google diddnt help. Thanks!

You can try and find a peel and stick protector (Like for your kitchen cupboards) and cut it to match whatever you want to cover

Just go to Walmart and by krylon fusion paint and paint it

Spray paint. Tape off the glass and have at it.
