I am thining of making a heart shaped ornament that I want to place in my girlfriend's tank for her birthday. I had a look at some clays that are non toxic and that dry naturally after about a week. This might be a long shot, but does anyone know it is safe and or if it will harm her fish?

Any help would be great.

Cheers!

The clay that drys naturally usually are made of polymers and aren't safe. The clay that has to be fired is safe, if you want to glaze it make sure it is with food safe glazes.

thanks - I don't want to risk killing her fish. It might just steifel all the effort I put into a handmade gift. I am pretty sure what I want and maybe I need to find something similar in plastic or maybe glass. I'll head into china town and have a look around. thanks for your advise
