I have 2 one gallon acrilic tanks. What I sometimes use is an old toothbrush that I keep just for aquariums. Seems to get the algae without scratching. Just make sure the bristles are the only part that touches the acrilic. Any other methods you guys use?

my plastic tank didn't get hardly any algae in it. I used the same stuff as is on those magnetic cleaners, but i don't know if it scratches it. I only had to do it once and i haven't seen any scratches. I used to just wipe it over with a dishwashing cloth every week or so. I don't know if that did anything to stop the alage.
