CO2 System
Hey Everyone,
Browsing ebay and saw some regulators and tanks much cheaper than buying a built pressurized system. What all do I need to purchase to setup a pressurized system though? Thanks, Mike |

A CO2 tank that's atleast 5 pounds, CO2 regulator with both high and low pressure gauges, needle valve, check valve, misc fittings to contect it all together.
Not needed but are useful: Solenoid, bubble counter, pH controller.

Basically you need a tank (different sizes for different size aquariums, or you can just refill your smaller tank more frequently), a regulator, CO2 diffuser, and CO2 tubing. Optional stuff is a bubble counter, PH controller and Solenoid.

I prefer a CO2 reactor to a CO2 diffuser to get more CO2 into the water since there is more time to diffuse and more surface area
