Maybe you can add more lights or higher wattages if you decide to go planted.

I am going planted... right now it's at 1.9wpg, but I have the bulbs for 2.3wpg (I need to DIY my co2 yet)...

I moved the rest of to set up here...

Incredible that you made it, and it turned out beautifully.

It has a very sort of old-school (with the framing) meets new school (with the technology) meets fine craftsmanship (which speaks for itself) feel to it. I just love the way it looks.

I know you're a skilled DIY-er, but even with that behind you the amount of planning, time and care you put into this should make you extremely proud.

And everyone else...I have never been this satisfied with a project...Everytime I walk past it I have to stop and stare...With all the positive feed back from you guys, I cant wait to share it. My daughter even gave me an award...I'll get a picture of it along with the tank...
