Cutting egg crate
So i am trying to start up a fresh tank, and i plan to use egg crate as a lid i went to Menards today and bought 2ft. X 4ft. piece for 7.79. Ace was 13.98 for same size. anyway, what would be a good tool to use to cut the egg crate to the size i need.

I used a pair of diagonal cutters. Worked like a charm.

They are just a pair of pliers that used for cutting wire. I imagine that you can pick up a pair at any hardware store. Cheap ones are probably less than 5 bucks, really good ones $20-$30+ Cheap ones will certainly do the job.
Good luck

I know this is a random question and kind of off topic, but can someone post a picture of egg crate so I know what y'all are talking about?

Or you can use a hack saw with a fine tooth blade.
