i am starting to breed fish and sooo in my aquarium i need to make 2 dividers (3 sections) Male female and unsorted fry/birthing i want to make them dirt cheap a material i havr thought of is plastic canvas (the stuff used with yarn) i think i can get sheets lrg enuf 2 not have 2 join peices my big question is how to to secure it to the sides without making holes lrg enough for fry to get thru (duct tape may be mans greatest invention but the fry might kiss it and get stuck LOL

Your on the right track with the rug backing (the plastic stuff)
The trim used in most DIY's are the backings from the plastic presentation folders in the office supply section of your fav. store. Ive seen the backings siliconed into the tank (silicone isnt too tough to remove) Just to get some ideas going for you. :P |
