DIY 29 gallon sump

So on Thursday I am going to buy a 29 gallon starter kit from Walmart for only $25. I am only concerned with getting the tank and heater although it comes with that and a hang on the back filter and a light. I was wondering how I should set the sump up I have seen all of the videos on YouTube abot this and am wondering what has worked for all of you? And this will be for a 55gal tank. I plan on having corals but it won't be for a a month or two. What do you all think?

So I bought the tank and it was broken. I took of the glass from the side that was broken. Today I got glass to replace and to make my baffels.
