DIY Aquarium Light

Just got a tank a few weeks ago and still new at this but i needed a better light source then the one i was using, so i gather stuff up around the house and made a DIY wooden Light with a T5 florescent light bought a home depot and used scrape wood around the house and threw it togeather in under thirty minutes. What you guys think?

Nice job. How many watts are those bulbs?

Thanks ! and Two 15W Bulbs they came with the light, Need to invest in some good bulbs now haha how many Watts you think? Its a 10 Gallon tank btw

It looks good. I would add some kind of reflector at the front and back of the light. It will redirect most of that light you are losing and give the tank even more light. I think your fine with the 15w, if you don't want live plants. You can get bulbs which help pop the colours of your fish.....

To keep it DIY see if you can get aluminum rain gutters with white interior.
