What is the best way to diffuse the C02 in you tank currently i am using a diffusor stone on the end of the air line and seems to be working pretty good but are there any better ways????

I'm not sure as far as DIY, but there are products like http://pet-king.stores.yahoo.net/15561176989.html. I don't know about that vendor. I just did a quick search and posted a link. You can probably find them at other online stores.

That is a start. The finer the bubbles the better. Now you need to just increase the total water contact time with the bubbles. A search in the DIY section has several examples.

You could go with the mist method. Basically you use either a fine airstone or a glass diffuser to create fine bubbles. This is placed directly below a powerhead which sucks in the bubbles and blasts them all over the tank.

You could go with the classic in tank reactor or a inline reactor.

All three methods are highly effective, so it's a matter of picking the one that works best for your situation.
